Cromwell Names New Executive Vice Presidents

January 26, 2023

Cromwell Architects Engineers announced that the company’s Board of Directors has appointed both Todd Kuhn, PE and Rob Seay, PE to the position of Executive Vice President.

Kuhn and Seay succeed Joe Hilliard, who has been Executive Vice President since 2012. Kuhn has been with Cromwell for 29 years and currently leads the Energy Services department. Seay has been with Cromwell for 31 years and currently leads the design engineering area of our practice. Their roles will expand to oversee all engineering departments and disciplines.

Kuhn is a 1991 graduate of the University of Arkansas Little Rock with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Cromwell in 1994 and established the Energy Services department in 2011 to support the need for a dedicated team to provide these services for Cromwell clients. He specializes in advanced energy diagnostics.

Seay is a 1990 graduate of Christian Brothers University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He started with Cromwell the Monday after he graduated from college and has served in his role overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering since 2005. He has an extensive resume both as an engineer and project manager specializing in a variety of project types including medical, corporate, and government.

After 39 years with Cromwell, Hilliard is taking the first steps toward transitioning to full retirement later in 2023.

“Over the past 138 years our firm has been lucky enough to have some of the most dedicated, caring and professional people serving our clients throughout all of Arkansas and beyond,” CEO Greg Cockmon said. “I appreciate everything that Joe has done for the firm over his 39 years and am excited for him as he makes the transition to retirement. I am looking forward to continuing to serve our industry with both Todd and Rob in their new positions.”
