September 16, 2024

We are excited to announce that Brittani Mitchell has achieved a major milestone in her career by obtaining her Professional Engineering License. Brittani’s journey with Cromwell began while she was still a student, working as a structural technician creating drawings with REVIT. After earning her degree in Civil and Construction Engineering, she advanced to an Engineering Intern (EI) role, where she began working on structural design projects.

Brittani’s academic path showcases her dedication to mastering her craft. She initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies – Interior Design from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Construction Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and later completed her Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Purdue University. These accomplishments have equipped her with a unique and valuable combination of expertise.

Over the past seven years, Brittani has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including industrial, office, retail, educational, and renovation developments. Her expertise encompasses various structural systems such as steel framing, wood structures, load-bearing concrete, and metal buildings.

Michael Callahan, Director of Structural Engineering, praised Brittani for her hard-earned achievement: “Brittani’s hard work, dedication, and commitment are evident in everything she does. This milestone is a testament to her focus and passion for engineering. We are excited to see where this achievement will take her, as she continues to play an integral role in our projects.”

Looking to the future, Brittani aims to pursue dual licensure by becoming a registered architect, a goal that will undoubtedly elevate her ability to deliver exceptional results across every project. We are incredibly proud of Brittani and look forward to what’s next for her.
