Deierlein Promoted to Federal Program Manager
Cromwell is proud to announce the promotion of Matt Deierlein to Federal Program Manager, a new leadership role introduced as part of the firm’s recent organizational updates. This well‑deserved step recognizes Matt’s proven leadership, deep technical knowledge, and unwavering commitment to excellence across our federal portfolio.
A former Marine, Matt credits his military service for equipping him with the discipline, confidence, and mission‑driven mindset that have shaped his architectural career. Over the years, he has built a reputation as an accomplished design architect with experience in project management, facility planning, construction programming, Building Information Modeling, and sustainable design. He serves as lead architect on many of Cromwell’s military projects, and his portfolio also includes medical, office, industrial, restaurant, and residential work. No matter the project type, Matt consistently pushes for responsible client driven solutions that create long‑term value.
In his new role, Matt will guide the strategic planning, development, and execution of Cromwell’s federal projects, helping ensure that each effort upholds our high standards for service and quality. He will play a key role in enhancing client satisfaction by overseeing the project execution process and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively for project success. Matt will also support the Federal Practice team in daily leadership and take an active role in networking, lead generation, and business development to advance the growth of the practice.
Collectively, these responsibilities position Matt at the center of day‑to‑day project execution within the Federal Practice, where he will provide continuity, direction, and support to our Project Managers as they deliver work across the federal portfolio.
