Cromwell’s newest generation of Architects are setting the stage for a great future in the national space. Through innovations in technology and early program adoption, our team has focused on thought leadership since the company’s inception. This initiative is reflected in Architectural Designer, Justice Barnes’ selection to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2026-2027 Next to Lead Cohort.
The program centers itself on leadership training designed around developing a cohort of women leaders in the architectural space. This program is the first of its kind, with their inaugural programming beginning in the Fall of 2021. Throughout this appointment, Justice and her fellow nominees will engage in a ten-month program aimed at enhancing leadership acumen, tackling challenges in the workplace, and refining leadership skills.
Her appointment to the Next to Lead cohort is just a stop on Justice’s path in architecture. Justice graduated from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School for Architecture in 2021 and shortly after joined the Cromwell team. In her time with the firm, we have celebrated her involvement in AIA at a state and national level as a Board Member of AIA Arkansas and National State Representative for the State of Arkansas to National AIA. These appointments highlight only a small portion of the incredible work Justice is doing to lead the architectural community here at home and across the country.
