Growing up in Jonesboro, Aaron was drawn to architecture, inspired by the guidance of two esteemed design professionals he knew through church. This early interest led him to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville. His career began with a formative summer internship at Cromwell, and in 2005, he returned to the firm, where he now serves as a Principal and Healthcare Market Sector Lead from Cromwell’s headquarters in Little Rock.

With over two decades of experience, Aaron exemplifies a client-centered, collaborative approach to healthcare design. As a board-certified healthcare architect with the American College of Healthcare Architects, Aaron boasts a diverse portfolio that spans master-planning academic medical centers, aiding rural critical access hospitals in the aftermath of natural disasters, and designing specialized facilities such as dental surgery suites in South Korea and medical clinics in Germany for U.S. Armed Services members and their families. Aaron is dedicated to crafting healing environments that support physicians and nurses in delivering critical care while adhering to project budgets. He is a strong advocate for the healing power of well-ventilated, naturally lit spaces for both patients and caregivers. Aaron’s work has significantly impacted healthcare outcomes, contributing to better medical environments in Arkansas, across the southeast United States, and internationally. His commitment to enhancing patient care through thoughtful design is central to Cromwell’s healthcare practice.

Outside of his professional expertise, Aaron enjoys the outdoors with his wife and two sons, engaging in activities such as hiking, hunting, fishing and rooting for the Razorbacks! He is also actively involved in the BSA Cub Scouts and serves on the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation Board, reflecting his dedication to family, community, and Arkansas history.

If you’re pursuing a career in architecture, Aaron offers this advice: Perseverance is crucial. There will be ups and downs, but the key is to stay the course. Dedicate yourself to learning the trade, put in the effort to grow, and keep pushing forward!
