We've grown! We're open! New Northwest Arkansas Office

Cromwell Moves Northwest Arkansas Offices

November 29, 2022

Cromwell Architects Engineers has established a new office located at 100 West Emma Avenue in Springdale. The office is led by Regional Director and architect, Josh Danish. The office is part of a larger redevelopment of the former First Security Bank complex that will include retail, restaurant, and office use.

Cromwell is the first tenant in the mixed-use redevelopment and is also the designer for the project.

“This is an exciting adaptive re-use project in an iconic mid-century modern building,” Danish said. “It’s significant in terms of growth and community development for downtown Springdale, Turnbow Park, and for Cromwell. We now have enough space to more than double the size of our office which will accommodate our growth needs in the future.”

This project will ignite growth in the downtown area. Inspiring change and fostering community growth is in Cromwell’s DNA as a company. It is the driving force behind our work and the legacy of our namesake, Ed Cromwell.

“Whatever scale we can provide to help revitalize downtown we want to take part. We hope moving our offices into the area will encourage other businesses to move and drive economic development in downtown Springdale,” President, Dan Fowler said.

Cromwell has a history with revitalizing communities all over Arkansas and has had a significant impact in the areas where its headquarters have been located. After over 40 years anchoring and revitalizing the Convention District in downtown Little Rock, Cromwell moved its headquarters to the former Stebbins and Roberts building in Little Rock’s East Village which became the flagship project of a larger revitalization of the neighborhood.

“Just as we’ve done with our headquarters in East Village, we plan to help revitalize downtown Springdale,” Fowler said.

The owner of the building is Emma Building Group.
