Position Purpose

The Structural BIM Tech will work with architects, other engineers, clients, and contractors, to design new structural framing and foundations for architectural and industrial facilities and assess existing buildings and design modification of existing structures.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Engineers, Architects, and other design professionals to produce detailed structural drawings and construction documents.
  • All other duties assigned.

Competencies

  • Exceptional Revit experience producing detailed structural drawings.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate on a project’s design.
  • Ability to be flexible within multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications / Prior Experience

  • Associates degree in Drafting technology preferred.
  • 2+ years of structural or architectural drawing experience using REVIT to develop plans and details

Work Environment

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Prolonged period of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.
