K-12 Education
We believe that listening is the most important design tool. Every school district, community, and circumstance is different. There are many decisions that impact the development of good facilities, countless ways to spend resources, and it is imperative that we understand the values of a particular community.
Since our founding in 1885, Cromwell has been designing innovative educational facilities.
We have a thorough understanding of how educational facilities work and the process of planning, funding, and approving projects with governing agencies. Our work with K-12 Public School Districts includes facilities for Buffalo Island Central, Forrest City, Little Rock, Manila, Marked Tree, Pulaski County, Rivercrest, Searcy, and many others around Arkansas. Cromwell has extensive experience working with the Arkansas Department of Education - Facilities Division in a variety of ways. We have assisted districts in preparing master plan updates, partnership program applications, and submitted plans under a variety of funding sources, including partnership, ARRA, and self funded options. Our architects and engineers are familiar with the requirements of the Arkansas School Facility Manual and have an excellent relationship with the Department of Education.

Flexibility
Our team creates versatile learning spaces that can easily adapt to changing educational requirements, technological advancements, and diverse teaching methods, fostering a dynamic and future-ready educational environment.
Community Accessibility
We promote inclusivity and community engagement by designing school facilities that are accessible to all, providing spaces for community events, after-school programs, and fostering positive relationships between schools and the neighborhoods they serve.
