Logan grew up in Maumelle, but he’s lived all around Arkansas, and the state has had a big impact on him. Inspired by the natural beauty of Arkansas and the idea of self-sufficiency, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. He gardens, works on his station wagon, and is building his own camper-trailer. What’s more, he knows how to cook – currently traditional French cooking, but he’s got bar-b-que and Latin flattop cooking set in his sights. If he could have a super power, he would choose telekinesis, just because he never feels like he has enough hands!
He loves the idea of living solely on what he himself has produced, but sustainability is also a major concern. For him, mechanical engineering is a great place to deal with issues of CO2 emissions and efficiency in a world where the advance of technology is constantly outpacing the lifespan of equipment. He may not have much experience yet, but he’s got big ideas.
Outside of work, Logan likes to camp, get host get-togethers for his friends, and walk with his dog. His philosophy can be summed up in a quote from Terence McKenna: “Take it easy, dude, but take it!”
