If you think you’ve seen Chris around town, you’re probably right. He’s extremely involved in the community through studioMAIN, American Institute of Architects, Downtown Little Rock Partnership, Association for Learning Environment Planners, and Little Rock R3LR Parks. And, he says his biggest achievement to date is influencing public policy about the direction of Little Rock’s future, related to public spaces and transit. And, he’s passionate about building cities and communities with a focus on public spaces and transit because the built environment plays such a crucial role in the way we live and our culture.
Chris is a proud dad who enjoys traveling with his family and understanding how the rest of the world lives. He spends his free time reading, drawing, playing violin, and running competitively.
Chris says the poem Desiderata by Max Ehrmann summarizes his philosophy in life. Also, “never quit.” His favorite sports team is the Razorbacks (see previous quote about never quitting).
