Aaron has always known he wanted to be an architect. Growing up in Jonesboro he was fortunate enough to have several family friends who were respected design professionals. These men inspired him to persue a career in architecture from an early age. He joined Cromwell as an intern and, after returning in 2005, now leads the firm’s healthcare practice. During his tenure at Cromwell, Aaron has served healthcare clients all over the state, across the country, and around the globe. He says working with the diverse and talented designers at Cromwell makes each day incredibly rewarding.
When he’s not creating spaces for physicians and nurses to advance healthcare, Aaron enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two sons in the Arkansas outdoors and volunteering at their church.
If Aaron could have another career, it would be as a history teacher. As a lifelong resident of Arkansas he has developed a deep appreciation for the Natural State. This serves him well in his position as treasurer for the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation.
If you’re pursuing a career in architecture, Aaron has this advice: Perseverance is the key. There will be hills and valleys, but staying the course is the important decision. Put in the time, learn the trade, and keep on keeping on!
