Aaron Scott, AIA

Architect

Aaron has always known he wanted to be an architect. He says he’s gotten to this point in his career by leading a group of intelligent people toward a common goal arriving at the junction where client expectations are exceeded while our designers’ best work comes to fruition.

He says his typical work day looks something like this: Adding seven things to his to-do list and maybe completing three of those tasks (time constraints are his arch nemesis). Phone calls, lots of phone calls. Less drawing than he used to do.

If Aaron could have another career it would be as a history teacher. He is on the board of the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation and is well-versed in Cromwell history.

If you’re pursuing a career in architecture, Aaron has this advice: Perseverance is the key. There will be hills and valleys, but staying the course is the important decision. Oh, and also; Don’t expect to run your own firm right out of college. Put in the time, learn the trade, and keep on keeping on!
