Dan Fowler, AIA
Director, Finance & Business Development
As a Cum Laude student of architecture at the University of Arkansas, Dan won the Henry Adams Fund Certificate of Merit for Design Achievement. He joined Cromwell Architects Engineers as an intern at 19 years old, and now holds the position of Chief Operating Officer, managing financial and business operations of the company. Dan is an accomplished design architect with a personal interest in urban and campus projects. He has been actively involved in numerous urban projects and is heavily involved in the redevelopment and preservation of historic downtown areas in Central Arkansas. During his tenure at Cromwell, he has instituted various programs and initiatives that strengthen the balance between Design, Project Management, and Business Management, providing a symmetry that is so integral to a building services company.
Dan volunteers his time on various committees and boards, notably Arkansas Zoological Foundation (AZF), and Little Rock Downtown Partnership. He was a prominently involved in the effort by AZF to obtain Ray Winder Field on behalf of the Zoo, providing design and strategic guidance through the City of Little Rock RFP process. He is a recent graduate of the Leadership Greater Little Rock and Leadership Arkansas programs sponsored by respective chambers of commerce. He also serves his professional community by serving on the Arkansas American Institute of Architects Board, currently in his second term.
Dan also spends time with his family, volunteering as a coach at Little Rock Futbol Club for his sons.
