If we can dream it, we can do it
The Central Organization for Revitalization and Enhancement of Harrison (C.O.R.E.) set out to create a strategic plan for transforming Harrison’s Core district into a thriving and sustainable marketplace environment that meets the needs of residents and visitors while contributing to the economic health of the region. A key element of this plan, which was derived solely from community input, was the creation of a magnet attraction in the Core district (specifically on the Harrison Square) to provide information relating to the Buffalo River National Park and the surrounding region for visitors and residents alike. Cromwell’s Ed Levy and Blake Jackson worked together to design the Buffalo River Education Center to fulfill this need.
